As a lifelong Mackay resident, I'm passionate about securing a future for our city and making sure locals can not only find jobs but build careers, start businesses and enjoy a high quality of life in our region. As a former teacher, I strongly believe we need to do all we can to create opportunities for our young people (and the not so young as well). These are the things that drive me everyday.
